personal injuries sustained by plaintiffs Clyde Van Tassel and Carlton Parrish and for damage to a tractor-trailer owned by
plaintiff Minneapolis Van & Warehouse Company and the loss of its contents arising out of a collision between the tractor-trailer
and the auto of defendant. The cases were tried before Levi M. Hall, Judge, and a jury. At the close of the evidence, the
court granted defendant's motion for a directed verdict in his favor in each case, and plaintiffs appealed from an order in
